Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for private household and estate staff roles across Dubai and the wider GCC.
This is a senior, client-facing position suited to a recruiter who understands the household staffing sector, thrives on discretion and relationship management, and can manage a portfolio of high-profile principals and candidates with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for household and estate staff positions, from client briefing and role scoping through sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference/background checks, and offer management.
- Build and maintain relationships with UHNW principals, family offices, and estate managers, acting as their trusted point of contact for staffing needs.
- Source and headhunt candidates for specialist roles (butlers, house managers, private chefs, nannies/governesses, housekeepers, chauffeurs, PAs) through networking, referrals, direct approach, and the agency's candidate database.
- Conduct thorough in-person and video interviews, assessing candidates for skills, experience, discretion, and cultural fit with the principal's household.
- Carry out rigorous vetting, including reference verification, employment history checks, and background checks in line with agency standards.
- Manage placements with a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity, given the private nature of clients and households.
- Negotiate salary, packages, and contract terms between principals and candidates.
- Provide ongoing aftercare to both clients and placed staff to ensure successful, lasting placements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in the agency's CRM/database.
- Stay current on GCC labour law, visa/sponsorship requirements, and domestic worker regulations relevant to household staffing.
- Contribute to business development — identifying new client opportunities and supporting the growth of the Dubai desk.
- Mentor and support junior recruiters or resourcers as the team grows.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years' recruitment experience, with significant experience in household staffing, hospitality, luxury service, or a closely related people-facing sector.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end recruitment for senior or specialist household/estate roles.
- Existing network of, or strong ability to source, high-calibre household staff candidates.
- Exceptional discretion and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive client information.
- Polished, professional presentation and communication style suited to engaging UHNW principals and royal households.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
- Sound understanding of UAE/GCC employment practices as they relate to domestic and household staff (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Fluent English required; Arabic or other additional languages are an advantage.
- Comfortable working flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends, to accommodate principals' schedules.
- UAE market experience strongly preferred; existing UAE residency/right to work is an advantage.
