Morgan Richez is the co-founder of Morgan & Mallet (M&M), a premier luxury household staffing agency serving Ultra-High-Net-Worth households globally.
He launched the business with Laurine Mallet, a partnership that began with a childhood friendship in France.
The venture took off after Laurine invited Morgan to join her in London, setting the stage for their global operation.

Morgan’s expertise is built on a rare foundation: extensive, firsthand experience within the private households they now staff. His early career included prestigious roles as a chauffeur and butler for high-profile figures, including a princess and a famous fashion designer.
During his time as a live-in butler, Morgan experienced the challenges first-hand, which gave him tremendous respect for household staff and a deep appreciation for their difficult, demanding, and highly professional roles.
The vision for Morgan & Mallet emerged from spotting a gap in the market. Existing agencies often offered a transactional, fast food level of service with minimal support. They were also only limited to national operations, while their clients were becoming increasingly global.
Morgan set up the company’s first website from his room, and the founders celebrated with champagne after securing their very first client.
Morgan & Mallet was founded to introduce the high-touch standards of the luxury service industry to the world of household staffing. The goal was to exceed expectations by prioritizing discretion, confidentiality, follow-up, and attention to detail for both clients and candidates.
With over 200,000 registered candidates, we can introduce highly qualified domestic professionals or act as the employer on behalf of our clients.
Morgan & Mallet has grown from its European roots to be a dominant force in luxury household staffing, driven entirely by client demand. The agency quickly became the leading agency in France. It is now one of the only luxury staffing agencies with global operations and offices across three continents.
The company’s global expansion was a direct response to the mobility of its UHNW clientele. When clients moved to new locations, such as the exodus to the US and Dubai following political changes like the abolishment of the non-dom scheme in the UK, they requested Morgan & Mallet’s services. The company followed and established local offices to meet these needs.
The company uses a proprietary Applicant Tracking System, which is continuously customized and updated. This system allows recruiters to filter for critical soft skills and lifestyle information far beyond standard software, making sure every match is perfect. The system is also adapted for global legal compliance, including anti-discrimination laws in markets like the US and France.
Morgan shared a story that illustrates how the world’s wealthiest clients often engage with the agency. Many relationships begin with a test. A client will ask M&M to handle just one placement, maybe a butler, nanny, or groundsman, to see what the agency can deliver.
The client’s chief of staff, or sometimes the principal themselves, will watch how that person performs. They’re looking for the right fit in experience, professionalism, and temperament. That first hire becomes proof of whether M&M can be trusted.
Once that trust is built, things change quickly. Morgan recalled one instance involving a large family office director, who, after one successful hire, came back asking for an entire domestic team. The client ended up requesting 25 people to staff their residence, showing how one good placement can turn into a long-term relationship.
Outside of the recruitment world, Morgan maintains a passion for art and culture, often visiting museums. He is also involved in other activities and investment vehicles.
