Job description

About Morgan & Mallet International

Morgan & Mallet International is a household staffing and estate management agency founded in 2015.

The group operates in Paris, London, Monaco, Geneva, Dubai, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Palm Beach. We place butlers, estate managers, private chefs, nannies, housekeepers, chauffeurs, and domestic couples with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices worldwide. Our database counts over 200,000 registered candidates, and our teams complete more than 1,200 placements per year.

The role

We are looking for a full-time freelance recruiter to join our US team, based in Miami. This is a 360 role. You will develop new business with HNW, UHNW, and family office clients across Florida, and you will run the recruitment process end to end for the mandates you win.

The right person is commercial first: comfortable prospecting, networking in private wealth circles, and closing service agreements, while also able to identify and present household staff at the level our clients expect.

Responsibilities

Business development

  • Identify, prospect, and sign new clients: HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, estate managers, private assistants, and wealth advisors in Miami, Palm Beach, and the wider Florida market.
  • Build and maintain a network of referral partners: family office executives, private bankers, wealth managers, luxury real estate brokers, yacht brokers, concierge services, and law firms serving private clients.
  • Represent Morgan & Mallet at industry events, private club gatherings, family office forums, and luxury networking functions in South Florida.
  • Conduct discovery meetings with prospective clients to define staffing needs, household structure, and service expectations.
  • Present and negotiate Morgan & Mallet service agreements, fee structures, and terms, in line with company pricing policy.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying additional staffing needs across clients' properties in the US and abroad, and by introducing complementary Morgan & Mallet services.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline in the company CRM, with regular reporting on prospection activity, meetings, mandates signed, and revenue forecasts.
  • Feed market intelligence back to management: salary trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns in the Florida market.

Recruitment and placement

  • Take detailed job briefs from clients covering duties, schedule, compensation, live-in or live-out arrangement, and household protocols.
  • Write and publish job listings, and source candidates through the Morgan & Mallet database, referrals, and direct approach.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for skills, presentation, discretion, and cultural fit with the principal and family.
  • Check references and coordinate background verifications in line with company procedure and applicable law.
  • Present shortlists with detailed candidate profiles, and organize client interviews and working trials.
  • Advise clients on market-rate compensation, benefits, and employment terms for household positions in Florida and other US markets.
  • Manage offer negotiation between client and candidate through to signed agreement and start date.
  • Follow up during the trial and guarantee period to secure the placement and resolve any issues early.
  • Keep candidate records, interview notes, and placement documentation up to date in company systems.

Brand and collaboration
  • Uphold Morgan & Mallet standards of discretion and confidentiality at all times, including strict handling of client and candidate data and NDAs where required.
  • Coordinate with the New York, Los Angeles, and Palm Beach teams on cross-market mandates, and with international offices for clients with properties abroad.
  • Contribute to the visibility of the Miami office through local partnerships and, where agreed, content or media initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, luxury hospitality, private staffing, concierge services, or sales to private clients. Experience selling to HNW, UHNW, or family office decision-makers is a strong advantage.
  • Proven commercial track record: prospecting, pipeline management, and closing.
  • An existing network in South Florida private wealth, luxury real estate, hospitality, or yachting circles is highly valued.
  • Excellent presentation, written communication, and negotiation skills in English. Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
  • High standards of discretion, judgment, and professionalism when dealing with prominent families and their representatives.
  • Self-managed and results-driven. You organize your own schedule and are measured on signed mandates and completed placements.
  • Comfortable with CRM and ATS tools and structured reporting.
  • Based in the Miami area with the ability to travel locally for client meetings, or willing to relocate.
  • Authorized to work in the United States as an independent contractor.

Work conditions

  • Location: Miami, Florida (hybrid, with travel across South Florida and Palm Beach)
  • Engagement: Full-time, freelance
  • Reports to: US Management, Morgan & Mallet
  • Access to the Morgan & Mallet international database, brand, marketing assets, and back-office support.

Salary

Performance-based compensation tied to signed mandates and completed placements. Details discussed at interview.
