Private Chef job (M/F) in Monaco
Job description
Morgan & Mallet International is recruiting, on behalf of a private family, an experienced Private Chef. The principal is a high-level athlete with strict dietary requirements; the role also covers meals for his wife and their two young children.
This position, based in Monaco, involves frequent travel alongside the family. This is a permanent contract (CDI), non-live-in (a local candidate is preferred).
Responsibilities
Meal preparation
- Prepare all of the principal's meals in strict accordance with his dietary and nutritional requirements (sports/performance nutrition)
- Prepare separate, age-appropriate meals for the two young children, as well as meals according to the wife's preferences
- Ensure a consistent standard of hygiene, presentation and freshness
Menu planning
- Develop and submit a weekly menu in advance for approval by the wife, covering meals for the principal, his wife and the children
- Adjust menus based on feedback to ensure the satisfaction of the whole family
- Stay attentive to any changes in dietary needs, allergies or preferences
Household coordination
- Manage kitchen ordering, sourcing and stock according to household standards
- Coordinate with the rest of the household staff (nanny, housekeeper) to ensure meals are well organised around the family's schedule
- Maintain the kitchen and equipment to a professional standard
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a private chef or high-end chef, ideally within a private household
- Good knowledge of sports nutrition / performance-related dietary requirements (or strong willingness and ability to adapt to strict guidelines)
- Experience cooking for families, including children's meals
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and clearly communicate menus each week
- Discreet, flexible, receptive to feedback
- Local candidate preferred
