Job description
Our client, a private Kuwaiti household based in Kuwait City, Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Private Chef to prepare daily meals for the family.
The household consists of four to five family members. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals for the household and adapting meals according to the family's individual dietary requirements and preferences.
The family is open to candidates of all nationalities. The ideal candidate should have formal culinary training or strong professional cooking experience and be confident preparing a variety of international, Mediterranean, and Arabic cuisines.
The chef should be flexible, professional, discreet, and able to adapt to the family's preferred cooking style, dietary requirements, and daily schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family.
- Prepare a wide variety of international, Mediterranean, and Arabic dishes.
- Adapt menus according to the family's preferences and requirements.
- Prepare healthy and calorie-conscious meals when required.
- Accommodate specific diets, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Follow menus or meal plans provided by the family and prepare dishes accordingly.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Plan and prepare meals according to the family's daily schedule.
- Prepare additional meals when family members have guests or gatherings.
- Assist with menu planning and recommend suitable dishes and ingredients.
- Monitor food supplies and assist with grocery shopping when required.
- Maintain the kitchen, cooking equipment, and cooking areas in a clean, organised, and
hygienic manner. - Adapt to the family's preferred cooking style and taste.
- Work professionally and discreetly within the private household
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Chef, Household Chef, or similar role.
- Formal culinary training or relevant culinary qualifications is preferred.
- Ability to prepare healthy and calorie-conscious meals.
- Ability to accommodate food allergies, dietary restrictions, and specific nutritional
requirements. - Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Flexible and able to adapt to the family's preferences and schedule.
- Previous experience working for private families is an advantage.
- Previous international experience is an advantage.
- Candidates of all nationalities may be considered.
- Professional, reliable, discreet, and able to work independently within a private household
