Job description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented, passionate Private Chef to join a high-net-worth family at their beautiful private estate in scenic Wicklow, Ireland.
This role is ideal for an energetic culinary professional coming from private households, luxury superyachts, or high-end chalets who takes pride in creating fresh, wholesome, restaurant-quality dishes in an intimate residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Craft daily fresh, nutritious, and creative home-style meals for the principals and
their guests. - Design weekly personalized menus tailored to seasonal ingredients and dietary
preferences. - Direct ingredient sourcing, grocery shopping, and establishing relationships with
top local Irish purveyors. - Complete kitchen management: stock control, pantry organization, and flawless
hygiene standards. - Provide warm, confident front-of-house service during intimate family dinners and
occasional guest entertainments.
Requirements
- Proven culinary experience in private estates, luxury chalets, or superyachts.
- Dynamic, proactive approach with a strong "can-do" attitude and genuine passion
for hospitality. - Excellent organizational skills to independently manage budgeting, shopping, and
kitchen operations. - Discreet, professional demeanor with high respect for family privacy.
- Fluent in English with a full, clean driving license.
Work conditions
- Contract: Seasonal contract (November 2026 – May 2027) with high potential to
transition into a permanent, long-term role. - Schedule: Full-time, 5 days on / 2 days off. Please note: Working weekends and
public/festive holidays (including Christmas) is required, as these are peak
entertaining times. Regular rest days off will be scheduled during weekdays. - Accommodation: Private luxury live-in accommodation provided.
