Job description
Our client, a Canadian/Lebanese household based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled Private Chef.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy, high-quality meals for 2 family members, accommodating dietary requirements, including gluten intolerance and the avoidance of processed foods. The chef will also be required to travel internationally with the employer.
The household consists of 2 people, with occasional small gatherings and entertaining. The ideal candidate should therefore be comfortable preparing daily meals for the family as well as catering for small gatherings when required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for two family members.
- Ensure meals meet the required dietary standards, including healthy, gluten-free, and nonprocessed foods.
- Plan weekly menus, source ingredients locally, and ensure freshness and quality.
- Be versatile and creative in cooking styles to accommodate various cuisines.
- Prepare meals for occasional small gatherings and entertaining.
- Maintain the kitchen, cooking equipment, and pantry in a clean, organized, and hygienic manner.
- Assist with meal-related errands, such as grocery shopping and sourcing specialty ingredients.
- Work professionally and discreetly, in line with the household's schedules and standards.
- Travel internationally with the employer as required, ensuring that food preparation and dietary standards are maintained while abroad.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a private or professional chef in luxury households, hotels, or finedining establishments.
- Female preferred, but open depending on experience and suitability.
- European nationality or nationality from a country whose citizens do not require a visa to travel to Europe, or a holder of a long-term European visa.
- Strong knowledge of healthy, balanced, and versatile cuisine.
- Ability to adapt menus to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, including
gluten-free and non-processed foods. - Flexible, reliable, and able to work full-time, with normal working hours for daily meal preparation and additional hours as required for hosting guests, events, or international travel.
- Professional appearance, highly trustworthy, and discreet.
- Comfortable with international travel alongside the employer.
