Job description
A private family in Dubai is seeking a skilled and reliable Home Cook / Family Chef to prepare fresh, healthy, and high-quality meals for the household on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Mediterranean and European (Russian) cuisine, excellent meal planning abilities, and the ability to work independently within a professional home kitchen Environment.
This is a live-out role suited to a professional who is organized, efficient, and passionate about creating nutritious and enjoyable meals for both adults and children.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily meals for the family, including lunches and dinners
- Create healthy and appealing lunch boxes for the children
- Cook fresh, balanced, and high-quality meals using premium ingredients
- Focus primarily on Mediterranean and European (Russian) cuisine
- Avoid Asian cuisine as per the family’s preferences
- Plan weekly menus in consultation with the family
- Ensure variety, balance, and creativity in meal preparation
- Adapt meals according to dietary preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Organize shopping lists and ingredient requirements when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Ensure proper food storage and hygiene standards
- Manage stock rotation and monitor ingredient freshness
- Keep kitchen equipment clean and properly maintained
- Understand the family’s preferences and routines
- Prepare meals according to schedules and household needs
- Be flexible when occasional schedule adjustments are required
- Maintain discretion and professionalism within the private household environment
Requirements
- Russian-speaking, European, or UK nationalities preferred
- Previous experience as a private cook, home chef, or family chef and open to restaurant chefs transitioning to private chef.
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean, European (Russian) and overall healthy cuisines essential
- Experience preparing meals for children and families
- Organized, punctual, and reliable
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a private household setting
Work conditions
- Accomodation: Live-out position
- Work Schedule: 5days per week (Monday- Friday)
- Location: The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE
- Start Date: August 2026
