Job description
We are seeking an experienced and professional Private Chef for a private family residence in Al Manara, Dubai.
The position is for a family of four adults. The household generally requires one meal per day, occasionally two meals, primarily lunch and sometimes dinner. Breakfast is rarely required.
The family places strong importance on clean, organic, fresh, and minimally processed ingredients and expects the chef to maintain consistently high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
About the Home
The residence is a private villa in Al Manara, Dubai, occupied by four adults. The family occasionally hosts guests, private dinners, parties, and small gatherings.
These occasions are not frequent but may require the chef to work later hours and prepare food for a
larger number of guests.
Children do not permanently reside in the household, although nieces and nephews may visit
occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Preparing daily lunch and occasional dinner for the family.
- Occasionally preparing breakfast when requested.
- Preparing high-quality international cuisine, with a preference for Italian and Arabic
cuisine. - Creating varied and well-balanced menus according to the family's preferences.
- Preparing meals for occasional guests, private dinners, parties, and gatherings.
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and consistently high culinary standards.
- Using fresh, organic, clean, and high-quality ingredients.
- Avoiding highly processed, overly packaged, and low-quality ingredients according to the
family's preferences. - Maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and organization.
- Preparing grocery and ingredient lists for the family. Grocery shopping is not required.
- Adapting to changing schedules and requirements within the household.
- Working additional hours when required for occasional gatherings or events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Chef, Household Chef, or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine.
- Good knowledge of Italian and Arabic cuisine.
- Experience preparing meals for private families and occasional guests.
- Excellent food presentation and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of fresh, organic, and minimally processed ingredients.
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable personality.
- Able to work independently and manage changing requirements.
- Professional, discreet, and respectful of household privacy.
- Candidates of all nationalities will be considered.
- UAE-based candidates are preferred due to the required food trial, although overseas
candidates may also be considered. - The family has a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding theft or unauthorised taking
of any household belongings or money. - No photography or recording is permitted in order to protect the family's privacy and
confidentiality.
Work conditions
- Position: Full-time, live-in or live-out
- Accommodation: Private accommodation with attached bathroom provided inside the
property for live-in candidates - Working Days: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Working Hours: Flexible according to the family's schedule, with occasional late finishes
during gatherings or special occasions - Start date: ASAP
- Visa sponsorship, medical insurance, and annual flight ticket provided
- Trial: In-person interview and food trial.
