Job description
Our client, an elderly and independent gentleman residing in Paris 75008, is seeking a Housekeeper responsible for the interior upkeep of the apartment and meal preparation.
Position to be filled in October. Permanent contract (CDI) – 35 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Perform household cleaning tasks (cleaning, polishing, dusting, sweeping, washing windows and floors, etc.)
- Laundry management (washing, ironing, and storage)
- Management of food stocks and other supplies
- Grocery shopping
- Cooking (healthy, balanced, and varied cuisine)
- Informal table setting and service
- Additional services (dry cleaning, post office, pharmacy, etc.)
- Receiving parcels and deliveries
- Expense management with reporting
- Accompanying the employer on outings upon request
- Travel with the employer (secondary residence – 2 hours from Paris) upon request
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar professional setting
- Versatile, autonomous, organized, and caring individual
- Familiarity with elderly individuals
- Passion for cooking
- Flexibility when needed
- Confidentiality assured to the employer
- French speaking
- Driving license required
