Job description

An active search is underway for a Housekeeper (M/F) on behalf of a UHNW couple (with a young child) residing in Monaco, for their exceptional 600 m² private residence.

The duplex apartment, featuring a rooftop terrace, private terraces, and a swimming pool, is located just a two-minute walk from the train station, in the heart of the Principality.

This position is ideally suited to a reliable, flexible individual who is accustomed to the high standards and discreet demands of a private luxury environment.

Working Schedule:
The position is structured on a contractual basis of 39 hours per week, representing approximately 25 effective working hours, complemented by on-call periods based on the family's schedule and activity:

Fixed working days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday and Saturday mornings: on-call — presence required as needed (receptions, guests, events at the residence)

Contract: Monégasque Permanent Contract (CDI) — Non-residential
Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities

Interior maintenance:

Thorough cleaning of living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, dressing rooms, offices and common areas.
Rigorous maintenance of the bathrooms (taps, marble, mirrors, glass walls, sanitary ware) with products adapted to noble materials.
Dusting and careful care of the furniture.
Vacuuming and washing floors according to defined protocols.
Harmonious storage and constant presentation of spaces.
Regular verification of the general condition of the parts and immediate reporting of any anomaly to the Housekeeper.

Exterior maintenance:

Cleaning and tidying up of the terraces and rooftop.
Maintenance of outdoor furniture, glazed railings and floors.
Preparation of outdoor spaces before use (installation of cushions, installation of furniture, cleanliness check).
Adaptation to weather conditions, with the removal or protection of furniture and accessories in case of rain, wind or other bad weather.

Teamwork:

Direct collaboration with the Ruler, accepting his daily directives and learning his methods.
Punctual assistance in additional tasks according to the needs of the residence and family.
An asset if you have cooking skills to help punctually in the preparation of simple or supplementary meals.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience in luxury private residences or with UHNW clients.
A gentle, calm, professional and proactive temperament, capable of working in tandem with the Housekeeper.
An attitude of excellence, recognized know-how and interpersonal skills, with verifiable references.
Fluency in French, English being a plus.
Discretion, loyalty and strict respect for confidentiality.
A sense of detail and attention to the needs of the family and the residence.
An irreproachable presentation and perfect hygiene (hair tied up if woman, shaved beard if man, neat nails).
Mandatory domiciliation in the Alpes-Maritimes (06) or bordering Italy, near Monaco.
Driving licence would be an additional asset
