Junior Housekeeper job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
An Irish family based in Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai is seeking a reliable and friendly Junior Housekeeper to join their private household as soon as possible and support the existing Senior Housekeeper.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Filipino Senior Housekeeper and should be comfortable working as part of a small household team.
The family has two children, aged 9 and 12. This is not a nanny position, but the candidate should
be comfortable interacting with the children, occasionally accompanying them to activities and assisting with school pick-ups when required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily cleaning and maintenance of the household.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the home.
- Assist the Senior Housekeeper with general household duties as required.
- Help with laundry, ironing and keeping household areas organised.
- Occasionally assist with school pick-ups and accompany the children to activities or
outings. - Spend time with and communicate comfortably with the children, aged 9 and 12.
- Support the family with occasional errands related to the children.
- Assist with other reasonable household tasks as requested by the family.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a private household is preferred.
- Preferably Filipino, although other nationalities may be considered.
- Must be comfortable working around children aged 9 and 12.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Responsible, trustworthy and organised.
- Flexible and willing to assist with different household requirements.
- Able to work well alongside the Senior Housekeeper.
- Comfortable accompanying and interacting with older children.
Work conditions
- Live-in position. Shared accommodation with the Senior Housekeeper.
- 6 days per week with 1 day off.
- Must be available to start ASAP.
- Visa sponsorship provided by the employer.
- Medical insurance provided.
- Annual flight ticket provided
