Job description

A full-time Housekeeper is sought for a private family relocating to Miami. The role requires a dependable and detail-oriented professional who can maintain the household to a high standard while working alongside childcare staff and adapting to a dynamic family environment.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a home with young children, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the household.

Responsibilities

  • Full daily housekeeping of a 6-bedroom residence (approx. 4,400 sq ft).
  • General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the home.
  • Laundry and ironing for the household.
  • Cooking meals for the family.
  • Changing linens and maintaining bedroom standards.
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Supporting overall household organization.
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly environment around children.
  • Working collaboratively with nannies and the mother.
  • Ensuring consistent daily upkeep (not limited to weekly deep cleaning).

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a full-time housekeeper in private homes.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
  • Comfortable working in a home with young children.
  • Organized and proactive with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Discreet and respectful of privacy.

Work conditions

  • Accommodation: Live-out
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
  • Days Off: Weekends – Flexibility to work on weekends when needed is required
  • Location: South Miami, Florida
  • Start Date: First week of August 2026
  • Benefits: Health insurance contribution + PTO
