Job description
We are looking for a Housekeeper for a private chalet located in Megève (Haute-Savoie -74), in charge of the general stewardship and maintenance of the property.
The position is to be filled at the beginning of February 2026 - permanent / full-time.
Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance of the chalet (cleaning, polishing, dusting, etc.).
- Linen management (washing, ironing and tidying up).
- Inventory management (cleaning products) and inventory.
- Preparing the chalet before the owner's arrival.
- Ensure the general good maintenance of the interior and ensure the proper functioning of the equipment.
- Reception of external service providers.
- Receiving parcels, deliveries.
- Supplementary services (post office, pharmacy, dry cleaners, florist, etc.).
- Shopping
- Welcoming guests and meeting their expectations.
- Interaction with the employer and regular reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar professional setting or within the luxury hotel industry.
- Dynamic, versatile, and autonomous individual.
- Strong sense of five-star service with excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and proactive problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Flexible availability required when the employer is present.
- Fluency in French and English is appreciated.
- Valid driver’s license required.
