Housekeeper job (M/F) in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain
Job description
A family in Marbella is seeking a reliable, professional and discreet Housekeeper for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent if the placement is successful.
The role requires a proactive, organised individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service in a private home. The ideal candidate will be warm, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a household with pets.
This role is open to candidates with the right to work in Spain (EU/EEA nationality or existing Spanish work authorisation).
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the residence
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Maintaining organisation and tidiness throughout the home
- Light household errands as required
- Assisting with simple meal preparation
- Preparing healthy, fresh dishes as needed
- Keeping kitchen clean and organised
- Service & Hospitality
- Serving drinks and food in a polite, discreet and professional manner (butler-style service)
- Supporting family and guests when entertaining
- Daily care for five dogs, including:
- Feeding
- Basic cleaning
- Letting in/out
- General attention and companionship
Requirements
- Previous experience in private households or high-end hospitality
- Comfortable around animals, especially dogs
- Reliable, discreet and trustworthy
- Able to work independently
- Positive, friendly, and flexible attitude
- Good spoken English
Work conditions
- Flights to Spain covered
- Visa support (if required) where legally applicable
- Comfortable accommodation (if live-in) or travel assistance (if live-out, to be agreed)
- Initial 6-month contract
- Full-time live-in role/ 6 days/ 1 day off
- Potential to extend to a long-term position based on performance
