Full-Time Housekeeper job (M/F) in Luxembourg
Job description
A private family living in Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to ensure the maintenance of their main apartment.Ā
The person will work in pairs with another domestic employee and will be responsible for the careful maintenance of the house, stock management and shopping, managing family and household linen.
The profile sought is experienced, versatile, organized and discreet, capable of managing the daily life of the family with efficiency and benevolence. Fluent in Spanish and French.
TheĀ position is a full-time permanent contract, housed and based in Luxembourg, to be filled as soon as possible. A comfortable and independent apartment in the city center, near the Tram is available.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the order and tidying up of the living spaces of the house, including special care for valuables and noble materials.
- ā¢ Maintaining order: tidying up rooms, organizing spaces, making sure everything remains comfortable and presentable.
- ā¢ General cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, bathrooms and kitchens.
- ā¢ Care of delicate laundry: washing, drying, folding, ironing and organization in the dressing rooms.
- ā¢ Change of sheets and maintenance of the rooms according to the standards in place.
- ā¢ Provide formal and informal table service.
- ā¢ Waste management: emptying bins, sorting, replacing bags.
- ā¢ Restocking: refilling household products, toiletries and ensuring stocks.
- ā¢ Management of small errands.
- ā¢ Window cleaning as required.
- ā¢ Management of parcels and deliveries.
- ā¢ Meet the family's daily needs and adapt to ad hoc requests.
Requirements
- M/F, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in a private home.
- Caring, professional, service-oriented and organizational.
- Dynamic, jovial, motivated personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Versatile, autonomous, discreet, responsible and totally trustworthy.
- Invested person, with the ability to work in a high-end environment, high standards, punctuality, discretion and confidentiality.
- Someone looking for a stable and sustainable long-term collaboration.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
- Fluency in French and Spanish is a plus.
