Job description
Our client, a private family based in Jumeirah Golf Estate, Dubai, is seeking a reliable and experienced Live-In Housekeeper to maintain their five-bedroom villa.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping, cleanliness, and organisation of the household, ensuring that the residence is maintained to a high standard at all times.
The household consists of the family and a five-year-old child, with an existing nanny also employed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working alongside other household staff and caring for the home in a professional, discreet, and organised manner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, flexible, and trustworthy housekeeper who is able to work independently and adapt to the family's household routines and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the five-bedroom villa.
- Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and other household
spaces. - Handle laundry, ironing, folding, and proper care of clothing and household linens.
- Keep the residence clean, tidy, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the household.
- Assist with general household tasks as required by the family.
- Work cooperatively alongside the existing nanny and other household members.
- Take initiative in identifying and completing household tasks without constant supervision.
- Follow the family's preferences, routines, and household standards.
- Maintain a professional, discreet, and respectful manner within the family home.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a private housekeeper or in a similar housekeeping role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning, laundry, ironing, and general household maintenance.
- Reliable, hardworking, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable to the family's household schedule and requirements.
- Comfortable working in a family home with a young child.
- Professional, trustworthy, discreet, and respectful.
- Open to candidates of all nationalities.
