Job description
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Housekeeper for a private client based in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
The role covers the general upkeep of the apartment and daily meal preparation. The position is available immediately on a permanent contract.
The primary workplace is in the 16th arrondissement, with one to two visits per week to the family's parents' home in the 7th arrondissement.
Responsibilities
- General housekeeping: cleaning, polishing, dusting, sweeping, and maintaining all areas of the home.
- Laundry, ironing, and careful organisation of clothing and linens.
- Managing household stocks — food provisions and general supplies.
- Grocery shopping and household errands.
- Preparing balanced, varied family meals.
- Running errands as needed: dry cleaning, post office, florist, pharmacy.
- Tracking household purchases and reporting to the employer.
- Receiving parcels and deliveries.
- Welcoming and overseeing external service providers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar private household role or luxury hospitality environment.
- Autonomous, versatile, and well-organised.
- A genuine interest in cooking.
- Comfortable working in a family home with children.
- Available, flexible, and adaptable.
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
- French spoken required.

Salary
€2,950 – €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience
