Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Live-in Housekeeper for a private townhouse residence in Kuwait City.
This position is for a private home occupied by a couple, with occasional visits from their infant daughter.
The residence is maintained to luxury hotel housekeeping standards, requiring a high level of precision, discretion, and consistency.
About the Home
The residence is a townhouse consisting of:
- 1 master bedroom
- Dressing room
- Nursery (used occasionally)
- Main living and dining areas
There are no pets in the household.
Meal preparation is not part of the role. However, light assistance in the kitchen (cleaning, organizing, and maintaining order) may be required.
Existing household staff are already in place; the housekeeper will work alongside the team, with a primary focus on maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards throughout the residence.
Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping and deep cleaning of all assigned areas.
- Laundry care, ironing, and wardrobe organization.
- Maintaining cleanliness, order, and presentation of the home at all times.
- Ensuring hotel-level standards of hygiene and detail.
- Light kitchen support (cleaning, organizing, tidying after use).
- Supporting an organized, well-presented household environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience in private households, luxury residences, or hospitality (e.g., 5-star hotels)
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy personality
- Able to work well within a team environment
- Comfortable in a structured, high-standard household setting
Work conditions
- Position: Full-time, live-in
- Accommodation: Private room with attached bathroom provided
- Meals: Provided
- Working Days: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Working Hours: Approximately 12 hours per day, including lunch and rest breaks (flexibility required during guests or special occasions)
- Start date: ASAP
- Visa sponsorship, medical insurance, and relocation flight ticket provided
- Return flight ticket to home country provided during leave (Leave is granted every two years).
