Housekeeper job (M/F) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job description
A Greek family in Dubai is looking for an experienced and reliable Housekeeper for their 6- bedroom home. There are no pets and no current housekeeping staff.
The housekeeper will be fully responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the home every day. They need someone who is mature, confident, and able to work independently without supervision. The family values honesty, responsibility, and consistency, especially when they are away.
The candidate must speak good English, have previous experience in private homes, and be very dependable with a strong work ethic.
Priority will be given to candidates already based in the UAE and available to start immediately.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a 6-bedroom residence on a daily basis.
- Handle all laundry and ironing duties.
- Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas are consistently clean, tidy, and wellpresented.
- Organize wardrobes and household items in an orderly manner.
- Monitor household supplies and report replenishment requirements as needed.
Household Support
- Assist with occasional grocery shopping when required (chef is already in place)
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- Take full responsibility for the home in the absence of the famil
Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in private homes
- Good English communication skills
- Responsible, honest, and reliable
- Able to work independently
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
- Mature and experienced
- Currently in the UAE (preferred for immediate hiring)
Work conditions
- Live-in position (shared room with 1 other staff)
- 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Working hours: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM (with breaks included)
- Meals provided
- UAE visa, medical insurance, flight ticket provided
- Start: ASAP
