Job description
A private household in Dubai is seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced Housekeeper to support the daily running of a private villa.
This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and well-managed home environment and seeks stability.
The successful candidate will be discreet, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while respecting established household routines.
There is already a housekeeper on site and the successful candidate will work closely with the existing housekeeper.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the villa, including bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms, and common spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the property
- Deep cleaning and sanitising the kitchen, appliances, and work surfaces
- Maintaining the home in a neat, tidy, and well-presented condition at all times
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic
- Cleaning appliances, cupboards, and food preparation areas
- Preparation of basic family meals
- Washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising laundry
- Sorting clothes by fabric and colour
- Operating laundry equipment safely
- Handling clothing and household items with care and attention to detail
- Managing household and cleaning supplies
- Monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day organisation of the household
Requirements
- Previous experience working in private family households, ideally 15 years
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
- Well organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to work independently and follow household routines
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Good communication skills in English
- Committed to a long-term position
Work conditions
- Position: Live-In Housekeeper
- Location: Dubai
- Schedule: 6 days/week, 10 h per day with breaks in between
