Job description

We are seeking, on behalf of our client residing in Divonne-les-Bains (01), a bilingual English-speaking Housekeeper / Live-in Carer, responsible for the upkeep of the house and for accompanying an elderly gentleman during the absences of the primary Live-in Carer (one week per month).

Position to start as soon as possible – Permanent contract (CDI), 39h/week. Staff accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities

General upkeep of the house (cleaning, polishing, dusting, washing floors and windows, etc.)
Laundry management (washing, ironing, storage)
Stock management (food and other household items)
Errands (grocery and other shopping)
Meal preparation (balanced and varied cooking)
Various errands (dry cleaning, mail, pharmacy, etc.)
Receiving parcels and deliveries
Welcoming external service providers
Walking the dog (small breed)
Assisting the employer's father: daily support, meals, getting up/going to bed, dressing, help with washing, accompanying him on outings, and providing caring companionship
Regular reporting to the employer

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
Training as a Live-in Carer or Care Assistant preferred
Autonomous, versatile and organised individual
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Kindness and patience
Comfortable around pets
Flexible according to needs
Discretion and confidentiality
Conversational English
Driving licence appreciated

Salary

€2,560 to €2,800 gross/month (depending on profile)
