Housekeeper job (M/F) in Cannes, France
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join the household of a private individual residing in Cannes, in a high-end property.
The role requires thorough and meticulous upkeep of the entire house, along with absolute discretion and a high level of professionalism at all times.
Working within a demanding private environment, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate autonomy, reliability, and genuine attention to detail, while strictly respecting the employer's privacy and lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- General and thorough cleaning of the entire house (floors, surfaces, bathrooms, windows)
- Care of household and personal linen: washing, drying, ironing, and storage
- Delicate care of fine fabrics (silk, lace, cashmere) where applicable
- Tidying and organising living spaces (wardrobes, cupboards, kitchen)
- Managing everyday shopping and household/cleaning product stock
- Strict respect for the employer's confidentiality and privacy
Requirements
- Proven experience as a housekeeper, ideally in a high-end environment
- Attention to detail, rigour, and autonomy
- Absolute discretion and strong professionalism
- Category B driving licence (depending on travel needs)
- Well-presented
- Fluent French; English an asset
- Verifiable references required
- Availability, flexibility, and reliability
Work conditions
- Contract: Permanent (CDI), full-time, 35 hours/week
- Accommodation: Live-out position
- Location: Cannes
- Start date: Early August
