Job description

A high-profile principal is seeking a polished, highly organized, and service-oriented House Manager / Personal Assistant to oversee three luxury residences in Dallas, Austin, and Aspen.

The primary base will be Dallas, with oversight responsibilities extending to the Austin and Aspen properties (Aspen operations currently partially outsourced).

This role combines house management, personal assistant support, and select butler-level service responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong lifestyle contacts (particularly in Dallas, Austin, and Aspen), a hospitality-driven mindset, and the ability to elevate each residence—especially Dallas and Austin—to a refined, five-star hotel experience.

Responsibilities

Estate & Household Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of three residences, with primary physical presence in Dallas.
  • Elevate the Dallas and Austin homes to a luxury, five-star hospitality standard.
  • Execute fine details of household presentation, including:
  • Bed linens and turndown service
  • Placement of amenities (e.g., chocolates, fresh flowers, guest touches)
  • Overall ambiance and readiness always
  • Ensure homes are impeccably maintained, organized, and guest ready.
  • Supervise landscaping vendors and property aesthetics.
  • Oversee contractors and service vendors (excluding contract negotiation).
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and preventative care.

 

Personal Assistant Duties

  • Provide direct support to the principal with flexibility and discretion.
  • Manage errands, personal shopping, and time-sensitive requests.
  • Be available on short notice and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain lifestyle vendor relationships and leverage high-level local contacts.
  • Assist with property logistics between Dallas, Austin, and Aspen.

 

Butler-Level Service

  • Deliver refined service when principals or guests are in residence.
  • Execute formal or informal service as required.
  • Anticipate needs and provide seamless hospitality experiences.
  • Maintain high standards of discretion, polish, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Personal Assistant, or similar role in a high-end private household.
  • Strong hospitality background with a keen eye for luxury detail.
  • Established lifestyle and vendor contacts in Dallas, Austin, and/or Aspen preferred.
  • Experience supervising vendors, contractors, and property services.
  • Professional demeanor with butler-level service awareness.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solution oriented.
  • Comfortable with hands-on tasks and adaptable to evolving priorities.
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality.

Work conditions

  • Location: Based in Dallas, Texas - will oversee homes in Dallas, Austin and Aspen
  • Schedule: Full time schedule, flexibility required based on household needs and travel
