Job description
For their secondary residence located in Ramatuelle (Var - 83), our client is looking for a House Manager (M/F) to take charge of the interior management of the home alongside the existing team.
This is a permanent position (CDI) available immediately. Staff accommodation is provided.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the general upkeep of the house and making sure everything is in order
- Participating in housekeeping tasks alongside the team (2 housekeepers)
- Linen management (washing, ironing and storing)
- Meal preparation on request
- Food shopping and other supply runs
- Stock and inventory management
- Managing the housekeeping team's schedule (task allocation, shifts, absences, etc.)
- Organisational coordination between the housekeeping team and the handyman
- Administrative management (expense receipts, invoices, filing, etc.)
- Welcoming external contractors
- Reporting any equipment or appliance malfunctions
- Feeding the dogs in the handyman's absence
- Reporting to the employer
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar professional environment or in luxury hospitality
- Dynamic, organised and autonomous
- Meticulous with a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility required
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a small team
- Absolute discretion towards the employer
- Comfortable with office tools and digital applications (Word, Excel, apps, etc.)
- Comfortable with pets (3 large dogs on the property)
- French-speaking
- Driving licence required
