Job description
A lovely family of three in Jeddah is seeking a professional and experienced Female Private Chef to join their household on a full-time, live-in basis. The family includes a husband, wife, and their 3-year-old daughter.
The role involves planning, preparing, and serving all daily meals, including baby food, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, nutrition, and presentation.
The ideal candidate will be creative, well-organized, and professionally trained, with strong experience in Italian, Spanish, Saudi, and Arabic cuisines, as well as other international dishes.
She will manage all kitchen operations independently and support family-hosted events, ensuring an exceptional home
dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve all daily meals for the family, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and baby food.
- Design and present weekly or monthly meal plans, coordinating with the wife/Madam for approval prior to execution.
- Prepare a wide range of dishes with a strong focus on Italian, Spanish, Saudi, and Arabic cuisines, as well as other international cuisines.
- Create healthy, balanced, and child-friendly meals, including age-appropriate baby food for the 3-year-old child.
- Source, select, and manage fresh, high-quality ingredients, including grocery shopping and kitchen inventory management.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent) at all times.
- Manage all kitchen operations, including stock rotation, waste reduction, and overall kitchen organization.
- Plan, prepare, and execute meals for family-hosted events and gatherings, ensuring high-quality food and presentation.
- Adapt menus for special occasions, guests, and family celebrations.
- Introduce new recipes, techniques, and plating styles to enhance menu variety and creativity.
- Prepare baked goods and pastries, including breads, desserts, and treats.
- Assist with food presentation, plating, and table coordination for family meals and events.
- Proactively suggest menu improvements, seasonal dishes, and special culinary ideas.
Requirements
- Female (due to living arrangements)
- Formal training from a professional culinary school or certified cooking program
- Professional experience in kitchens, ideally as a Sous Chef, Commis Chef, or Private Chef
- Strong professional experience in Italian, Spanish, Saudi, and Arabic cuisines, with the ability to prepare other international dishes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in grilling, roasting, baking, healthy cooking methods, and pastry preparation
- Skilled in creating recipes from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Meal Planning: Proven ability to create and manage weekly or monthly meal plans in coordination with the wife/Madam
- Comfortable planning and executing meals for small to medium-sized family events, including themed menus
- Knowledge of nutrition, portion control, child-friendly meals, baby food preparation, and food safety standards
- Personal Attributes:
