Morgan & Mallet International | Remote, US-based (New York / Miami / Palm Beach / Los Angeles) | Freelance

We place butlers, nannies, housekeepers, private chefs, estate managers, chauffeurs, and domestic couples for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. Offices in New York, Miami, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Antibes/Monaco, Geneva, and Dubai.

Our US household staffing work is growing fast, and we're opening a freelance role for an experienced recruiter who knows this world.

You'll own the full placement cycle for US clients: understanding what a family needs, finding the right candidate, vetting them properly, and seeing the placement through to a confident start.

Responsibilities

  • Take detailed briefs from principals, estate managers, and family offices, and translate them into clear role specs.
  • Source candidates through our database, your own network, and targeted outreach.
  • Screen and interview candidates against the standard we hold: experience, references, discretion, and fit with the household.
  • Run reference checks and coordinate background and right-to-work verification.
  • Manage candidates and clients through interviews, trials, offers, and onboarding.
  • Keep everything moving in our ATS so the pipeline stays clean and current.

Requirements

  • Real experience placing or managing household staff, or running recruitment for private service, hospitality, or luxury sectors.
  • A feel for what makes a private household work, and an instinct for the right personality match, not just the right resume.
  • The discretion this work demands. Many of our clients sign NDAs, and so will you.
  • Strong judgment on references and red flags.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline.
  • US work authorization. Spanish, French, or other languages are a plus given our client base.
