Full-Time Travelling Private Tutor job (M/F) Paris, France
Job description
A travelling international family is seeking an experienced Private Tutor to support the education of two children aged 5 and 7. The family moves regularly between France and the United States, with additional international travel throughout the year.
The parents are respectful, engaged, and place strong value on education, structure, curiosity, and personal development.
The tutor will be responsible for delivering a bespoke homeschooling programme, aligned with both the French and US curricula, while adapting to the children’s pace, interests, and developmental needs.
This is a hands-on, travel-based role requiring flexibility, cultural awareness, and a genuine passion for teaching.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured homeschooling sessions for two children (ages 5 and 7).
- Align lessons with French and American educational standards.
- Design engaging, age-appropriate learning plans.
- Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and strong values.
- Support academic, emotional, and social development.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Accompany the family during international travel and ensure educational continuity.
- Foster a positive, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
- Experienced homeschooling tutor or educator.
- Strong knowledge of the French and/or US curriculum.
- English speaking required (French is a strong advantage).
- Solid experience essential (no age requirement).
- Warm, kind, hands-on, and values-driven.
- Organised, adaptable, and culturally aware.
- Additional skills (languages, arts, sports, music, etc.) highly valued.
- Comfortable travelling internationally.
- Comfortable around a small family dog.

- Contract Type: Long-term
- Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
- Approximately 8 hours per day
