Travelling Nanny job (M/F) in Paris, France
Job description
A young, dynamic English-speaking family based in Paris, looking for an experienced, educated and warm Nanny to care for their 14-month-old son, an active, curious and very lively little boy.
As the family travels frequently, the nanny will travel alongside them, with accommodation provided both at the family home and in hotels during trips.
This is a wonderfully enriching role for the right candidate, requiring genuine flexibility, adaptability and a love of adventure.
Education and child development are at the heart of the family's values, and they are looking for someone who shares that commitment, a nanny who brings creativity, positivity and structure to the child's daily routine, planning age-appropriate and stimulating activities that support his growth.
As hands-on parents, they value clear boundaries and a respectful, collaborative dynamic within the household. The family also has two small dogs, so comfort around animals is important.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate, creative and stimulating activities.
- Supporting the child's development in line with the family's educational values.
- Travelling with the family internationally as needed.
- Preparing basic meals for the child, no formal cooking required.
- Maintaining a warm, positive and structured daily routine.
- Being comfortable around two small dogs.
Requirements
- A recognised childcare and/or education certification
- An EU passport
- Fluent English, French is a significant asset
- Previous experience in a travelling nanny role
- A genuine understanding of boundaries and professional dynamics within a private family
- Basic cooking skills
- A positive, creative and flexible approach
Work conditions
- Position: Full-time, live-in
- Location: Paris, with frequent international travel
