Job description
A private family is seeking an energetic, proactive, and highly engaged Nanny to support their three children during the summer period in Greenwich, Connecticut.
This is a temporary, live-out role (mid-June to mid-August 2026) for a local candidate, with the possibility of becoming a long-term position based in Puerto Rico for the right fit.
The nanny will be responsible for the day-to-day care, supervision, and engagement of three active, school-aged children during the summer.
This role is highly activity-focused, requiring someone upbeat, sporty, and able to keep up withan energetic lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging care for three children (ages 10, 8, and 5)
- Plan and lead fun, active, and stimulating activities
- Take children on outings (beach, parks, zoo, etc.)
- Organise and accompany children to activities and playdates
- Assist with packing for daily outings and activities
- Drive children safely to and from activities (car provided)
- Support daily routines and ensure a structured, positive environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5–6 years’ experience as a nanny, ideally with 3 children at the same time
- Very energetic, active, and sporty — able to keep up with highly active children
- Comfortable engaging in physical play (e.g. sports for extended periods)
- Strong swimmer (essential)
- Confident driver with a valid driving licence (essential)
- Positive, upbeat, and hands-on personality
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Able to take initiative and plan engaging activities independently
