Newborn Nanny job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Newborn Nanny to provide dedicated care for their newborn baby boy, due in August.
This is a live-in position requiring a professional who is confident supporting a newborn from birth and guiding the family through the early developmental stages.
The ideal candidate will possess formal newborn care qualifications and have extensive experience working with infants in private households.
The nanny must be nurturing, highly organized, discreet, and comfortable accompanying the family on domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time care and support for a newborn baby boy from birth.
- Establish and maintain age-appropriate feeding, sleeping, and daily routines.
- Monitor developmental milestones and provide appropriate stimulation.
- Assist with feeding schedules, bottle preparation, and sterilization of feeding equipment.
- Support sleep training and healthy sleep habits when age appropriate.
- Ensure the baby's nursery, clothing, and personal belongings are maintained to the highest standards.
- Monitor the baby's wellbeing and promptly report any concerns to the parents.
- Bathing, dressing, and changing the baby.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards.
- Preparing and organizing diaper bags and travel essentials.
- Managing the baby's laundry, wardrobe, and nursery organization.
- Ensuring all baby equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Provide age-appropriate developmental activities and sensory stimulation.
- Support cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.
- Encourage healthy routines and developmental progress.
- Maintain detailed records of feeding, sleeping, and developmental milestones if requested.
- Accompany the family on domestic and international trips.
- Ensure smooth travel arrangements relating to the baby.
- Maintain routines while travelling.
- Prepare and organize all baby-related travel items and essentials.
- Adapt to changing schedules and environments while maintaining high standards of care.
- Work closely with the parents to support their preferred parenting style.
- Coordinate with other household staff when required.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Provide flexibility when family schedules change.
Requirements
- Certified in Newborn Care, Maternity Nurse, Infant Care Specialist, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience caring for newborn babies from birth.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in private households, maternity care, or professional newborn care environments.
- Strong knowledge of newborn development, feeding, sleep routines, and infant safety.
- Current First Aid and Infant CPR certification.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally and at short notice.
- Professional, calm, and nurturing approach.
Work conditions
- Accommodation: Live-in – private bedroom and bathroom provided
- Work Schedule: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Location: Al Barari, Dubai – UAE + international travel required
- Start Date: August 2026
