Job description
Our client, a private family based in Piraeus (Kastella), Greece, is seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and professional live-out Nanny to provide exceptional after-school care and developmental support for their two young boys (aged 3 and 4).
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the children’s daily routine, ensuring a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment that supports both emotional well-being and cognitive development.
Please note that while the position is currently based in Greece, there is a possibility that the nanny may be asked to relocate with the family to Dubai in the future. There is no confirmed timeline for this move, as the family is monitoring the situation and will decide accordingly. The family is seeking a stable, long-term placement rather than a short-term or temporary arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Provide after-school care and supervision for two children.
- Welcome the children home from school and oversee daily routines.
- Assist with bathing and hygiene routines.
- Prepare light meals and snacks.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and creative activities.
- Support early learning and developmental milestones.
- Encourage a structured routine that balances learning and play.
- Organize occasional outings such as park visits and recreational activities.
- Provide homework support as the children grow.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and organized environment.
- Accompany the family on trips, primarily during summer (approximately 2 consecutive months between June–August)
Requirements
- Degree in Child Education, Child Development, or a related field (mandatory).
- Proven experience working with young children.
- Fluent in English (Greek is a plus).
- Willing and able to travel with the family when required.
- Warm, patient, and child-focused personality.
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to the family’s needs.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Professional and well-presented.
Work conditions
- Working hours:
•Monday to Friday: Approximately 16:00 – 21:00
• Weekend: 8 hours (Saturday or Sunday, based on candidate preference)
• Additional hours: Approximately once per week (with prior notice) - Working days: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Live-out position
- Start date: ASAP
