Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced, professional, and reliable Live-In Nanny to provide dedicated care for their child, who will be approximately one year old in February, within a fully staffed ultra-high-net-worth household based in Palm Beach, Florida.
This role is focused on full-time childcare and child-related household support, requiring a candidate with proven experience caring for infants and young toddlers. The family travels frequently, both domestically and internationally, and the nanny must be highly flexible and comfortable traveling with the principals.
The ideal candidate is calm, confident, discreet, and highly experienced in private households. The family values professionalism, efficiency, and someone who can “get the job done” while integrating seamlessly into an established household team.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time, attentive care for a child approximately one year old.
- Oversee all child-related routines, including feeding, naps, hygiene, and developmental activities.
- Prepare age-appropriate meals and snacks for the child.
- Manage child-related laundry, organisation, and bedroom upkeep.
- Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate stimulation.
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally as required.
- Coordinate smoothly with existing household staff (estate manager, house staff, etc.).
- Maintain a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
- Follow family routines, expectations, and privacy standards.
- Exercise discretion and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, ideally within private households
- Proven experience caring for infants and toddlers around one year of age
- Comfortable working 6 days per week (approximately 60 hours per week)
- High level of flexibility regarding schedule and travel
- Ability to work effectively within a fully staffed household environment
- Strong understanding of infant safety, routines, and early childhood development
- Discreet, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Willingness to undergo a full background check and reference verification
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
