Job description
A warm and dynamic private family based in Miami, Florida is seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive Live-Out Nanny to join their household on a long-term basis.
The family has four children aged 3, 5, 7, and 9 and already employs a Live-In Nanny, as well as additional childcare support when required.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of the established childcare team and will not be solely responsible for all four children at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys working in a busy family environment, values teamwork, and is looking for a stable, long-term position with a highly supportive family.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive care, supervision, and support for the children
- Assisting with school pick-ups, extracurricular activities, sports schedules, appointments,
and outings, including driving the children as required - Supporting afternoon and evening routines, including school pick-ups, extracurricular
activities, homework, dinner, and preparing the children for the evening - Preparing children's meals and snacks as required
- Organising school bags, uniforms, sports equipment, and daily essentials
- Managing children's laundry, wardrobe organisation, and clothing rotation
- Maintaining organisation of children's bedrooms, play areas, closets, and personal
belongings - Supporting the children's routines, development, and overall wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with the family's other childcare providers and household staff
- Assisting with child-related household duties
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a nanny within private households
- Experience caring for multiple children and managing busy family routines
- Warm, energetic, organised, and proactive personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a wider household
team - Flexible, professional, and discreet
- Legally authorised to work in the United States
- Valid driver's licence and confident driving skills essential
Schedule
This is a full-time, live-out position working Monday through Friday. The family requires
guaranteed coverage from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm each weekday and can offer additional hours
earlier in the day depending on the candidate’s preference and availability.
