Nanny Job in Paris, France (M\F)
Job description
A young, dynamic and warm family, living in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, is looking for an experienced and dedicated nanny (M/F) to care for their two young children, a newborn and a child under 2 years old at the start of the position.
This role is first and foremost dedicated to the children: their safety, their development, their well-being and their daily fulfilment. The family travels regularly, weekends at their country residence or by the sea. The nanny will accompany the family on these trips, which are an integral part of the role. This rare and rewarding position is aimed at someone wishing to commit long-term, travel, and grow within a close-knit and caring household.
The family has a small dog, clean and very friendly.
This is a full-time permanent contract, to start as soon as possible. Accommodation provided: independent housing close to the family home, comfortable and fully equipped.
Responsibilities
Childcare - Main Priority
- Complete care: dressing, nappy changes, baths, daily care
- Stimulation and education: play activities, outings by pushchair or on foot, reading, songs, cultural outings
- Feeding: bottles (breast milk or formula), purées, children's meals
- Kindness and emotional closeness at all times
- Occasional accompaniment to doctor's appointments in case of emergency or if the parents are unavailable
- Tidying the children's living areas: toys, clothes, belongings
- Cleaning and sterilising baby equipment
- Managing and checking baby supplies: nappies, cotton wool, pharmacy products, etc.
- Preparing the children's belongings before departures and unpacking on return
Household Participation
- Common sense around the home: tidying children's areas, cleaning up after snacks and meals
- Occasional support where needed - in a team spirit and with good rapport
Travel - Essential Component
- Accompanying the family at least one weekend in two at their country or seaside residence
- One week of travel during the winter school holidays and one week during the spring holidays
- Three weeks of travel within France with the family during the summer
- Same duties carried out while travelling — unwavering continuity of service
Requirements

- Proven experience with newborns and young children - essential
- Fluent French essential - English an appreciated asset

Work conditions
Location: Paris, 7th arrondissement Accommodation: Independent housing, comfortable and fully equipped, close to the family home (subject to profile) Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Typical schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12pm–7pm - 12pm–3pm household duties / 3pm–7pm children
- Tuesday: OFF
- Friday: 9am–7pm
School holidays: full-time one week in two Weekends: at least one in two travelling with the family Travel with the family during school holidays: 1 week in winter + 1 week in spring + 3 weeks in summer
