Job description
A private family residing in Monaco is seeking an experienced Nanny (M/F), certified in first aid, to care for a young child.
The family is looking for an experienced professional who is available and flexible, able to adapt to a schedule that may include daytime hours as well as occasional evenings.
The Nanny's role will be to ensure the child's wellbeing, safety and development, while offering activities suited to his/her growth.
The position also involves accompanying the family during travel. This role is suited to a candidate with solid experience working with private families, able to commit fully and consistently to the role, with kindness, autonomy, rigour, flexibility and discretion.
Absolute confidentiality is expected in this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide active, attentive and caring supervision of the child.
- Ensure the child's daily wellbeing, safety and comfort.
- Propose and organise educational, playful and creative activities suited to the child's development.
- Actively contribute to the child's development, autonomy and emotional balance.
- Prepare and oversee healthy, balanced meals, in line with established habits and guidelines.
- Accompany the child during activities and outings as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organised, safe and stimulating environment.
- Respect the family's habits, values and educational principles.
- Demonstrate flexibility in organising working hours according to the family's needs.
- Be able to provide evening childcare.
- Be available to accompany the family during travel.
- Ensure continuity of care and the child's routine while travelling.
- Collaborate professionally and discreetly with the various people present within the family environment.
- Maintain regular, clear and appropriate communication regarding the child's daily life.
- Demonstrate autonomy while respecting the instructions and organisation in place.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the family, their environment and their organisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-end private residence or with UHNW clientele
- Valid and up-to-date first-aid certification mandatory
- Fluent French essential; English appreciated
- High degree of flexibility and availability when required
- Available to travel regularly with the family
- Absolute discretion and strict respect for confidentiality
- Attitude of excellence: impeccable know-how and conduct
- Strong sense of anticipation and attentiveness to the family's needs
- Elegant and immaculate personal presentation at all times
- Reliability, loyalty and long-term commitment
- Verifiable professional references required
- Must be based in the Alpes-Maritimes (06) or in the vicinity of Monaco
