Job description
A private family is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Nanny to join their household in Kuwait City on a long-term basis.
The primary responsibility will be the full care, development, and daily routine management of an 8-month-old baby girl.
This role is best suited for someone who treats childcare as a profession and is committed to providing consistent, structured, and high-quality care in a private household environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time care for an 8-month-old baby girl.
- Manage daily routines including feeding, bathing, diapering, and naps.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental play and learning activities.
- Support early developmental milestones (motor skills, sensory play, communication).
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for the child at all times.
- Monitor the child’s wellbeing and communicate regularly with parents.
- Assist with travel arrangements and childcare during international trips.
- Work collaboratively with other household staff when required.
Requirements
- Extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers.
- Proven background in newborn and baby care.
- Hygienic, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- High energy level and ability to actively engage with a growing baby.
- Calm, nurturing, patient, and emotionally steady.
- Strong understanding of child safety and hygiene standards.
- Good command of English (spoken communication required).
- Respectful, discreet, and able to integrate into a private household.
- Comfortable with international travel with the family.
- Professional attitude toward childcare as a long-term career.
Work conditions
- Live-in position (sleeping arrangement within the baby’s room provided); private
washroom provided for personal use - Meals provided by the family
- 6 working days per week, 1 day off
- International travel with the family (when required)
- Start date: Immediate / As soon as possible
- Work visa & medical insurance provided
- Annual flight ticket to home country:
- 1 month leave per year, or
- After 2 years of service, eligible for 2 months leave
