Job description
A delightful Turkish family based in Kayseri is seeking a native English-speaking, live-in Nanny/Household Assistant to provide an immersive English-language environment, including cultural interactions, for their two daughters, aged 12 and 8.
The family values a respectful and positive approach to their children's education. This is primarily a childcare and language-focused position, with light household duties.
Responsibilities
- Spending time with the children and communicating exclusively in English
- Supporting daily routines before and after school
- Engaging in educational, developmental, and creative activities
- Encouraging positive manners, discipline, and organisation
- Working alongside the parents, who are frequently at home
- Light organising and tidying
- Laundry when needed
- Basic domestic assistance
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Comfortable working closely alongside parents who are frequently home — this is not a fully independent nanny role, and requires the ability to integrate well with parental presence
- Patient, calm temperament
- Strong sense of manners, discipline, and structure, with the ability to model and encourage this in children
- Organised and reliable with routines
- Culturally sensitive and adaptable, respectful of the family's values and household norms

- Work Schedule: Mainly weekdays, with occasional evenings
