Nanny/Governess job (M/F) in Paris, France
Job description
Morgan & Mallet International is recruiting, on behalf of a private family based in the Paris 7th arrondissement, a native English-speaking Governess/Nanny.
The position is available from early September, Monday to Friday. You will join an active household with three children aged 9, 7 and 4. A housekeeper already works 4 hours a day within the household.
Responsibilities
- Collecting the children from school at 4:30pm
- Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:30pm to 9pm; Wednesday from 9am to 9pm
- Organising trips to the park and outdoor activities
- Preparing the children's snacks and dinners
- Bath time and bedtime
- Shopping related to the children's meals
- Supervising sports and physical activities: chess, table tennis, judo and piano
- Leading group games and managing a group of three children of different ages
- Adopting a proactive, firm and caring educational approach
- Additional availability for evening babysitting, 1 to 2 times per week
Requirements
- Native English speaker essential — American English strongly preferred
- Proven experience with active boys and group settings
- Comfortable with children of different ages (4 to 9 years old)
- Strong sporting sensibility: rugby, table tennis, outdoor activities
- Ability to positively challenge and stimulate the children
- Dynamic, charismatic and enthusiastic personality
- Firm, structuring and reliable
- Proactive, creative and willing to entertain the children
Work conditions
- Contract: Permanent (CDI), full-time
- Accommodation: Live-in position (50 m² in Issy-les-Moulineaux)
- Location: Paris 7th arrondissement
