Nanny/Governess job (M/F) in Paris, France
Job description
Morgan & Mallet International is recruiting on behalf of a private family based in the 7th arrondissement of Paris a native English-speaking Nanny/Governess (American English strongly preferred).
The family is active and dynamic, with three children: ages 9, 7, and 4. A housekeeper works at the property 4 hours per day. Two dogs are also present.
The family has previously supported foreign candidates through their visa application process and can provide assistance if required.
Responsibilities
- School pick-up at 4:30 pm
- Childcare on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and full days on Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Organising park outings and outdoor activities
- Preparing snacks and dinners
- Bath time and bedtime routine
- Shopping for the children's meals
- Supervising sports and educational activities: chess, table tennis, judo, piano
- Leading group games and managing group dynamics
- Evening babysitting 1 to 2 times per week depending on the family's needs
Requirements
- Native English speaker essential, American English strongly preferred
- Proven experience with active boys, ideally in a group setting
- Comfortable with children of varying ages (4 to 9 years old)
- Strong sporting sensibility: rugby, table tennis, outdoor activities
- Ability to challenge and stimulate children in a positive way
- Dynamic, charismatic, proactive and creative personality
- Firm, caring and structured approach to childcare
Work conditions
- Contract: Permanent (CDI) – full-time
- Location: Paris 7th arrondissement
- Accommodation: Live-in – 50 m² apartment in Issy-les-Moulineaux
- Start Date: Early September
