A lovely family based in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Maternity Nurse to provide dedicated care for their newborn baby boy.
The family is looking for a professional who is confident caring for a newborn from birth and can provide expert support during the early months, particularly while the mother recovers from a C-section.
The position is initially more intensive during the first six weeks, with the working hours expected to reduce depending on the mother's recovery. The family is very flexible and willing to discuss the working arrangement and hours based on the candidate's experience, availability, and preferences.
The ideal candidate will hold formal newborn care or maternity nurse qualifications and have extensive professional experience caring for newborns in private households.
The family is ideally looking for a long-term commitment of approximately 6 months or more, depending on the candidate's availability and suitability. Candidates currently based overseas, including those currently in Europe, are welcome to apply. UAE employment benefits will be provided.
Newborn Care
Provide attentive and professional care for the newborn baby boy.
• Manage feeding, sleeping, changing, bathing, and daily routines.
• Prepare bottles and sterilize feeding equipment.
• Monitor the baby's health, wellbeing, and developmental milestones.
• Support healthy feeding and sleep routines.
• Provide appropriate newborn care guidance and support to the parents.
Baby & Nursery Care
• Maintain the baby's hygiene, clothing, laundry, and personal belongings.
• Keep the nursery clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Prepare and organize baby essentials and equipment.
• Provide age-appropriate developmental and sensory activities.
Mother & Family Support
• Provide additional support to the mother during her recovery from a C-section.
• Work closely with the parents and follow their preferred parenting style.
• Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the baby's routine and wellbeing.
• Provide professional newborn-care guidance and reassurance when required.
Travel & Household Support
• Potentially accompany the family on domestic or international travel after approximately
three months.
• Maintain the baby's routine while travelling.
• Coordinate professionally with other household staff when required.
• Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality.
