Job description

A family of four based in Palm Jumeirah is seeking a highly professional and education-focused Live-In Nanny to primarily care for their 8-year-old boy, with occasional assistance for their 1- year-old baby (only when required, as the mother is hands-on).

The ideal candidate will combine structured childcare with strong academic support, ensuring the child’s educational development, extracurricular balance, and overall well-being. Accommodation is provided inside the main house.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, structured care for the 8-year-old boy.
  • Plan and implement educational and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Support homework, school projects, exam preparation, and academic progress.
  • Encourage reading, critical thinking, and productive study habits.
  • Manage daily routines, including early morning preparation and school readiness.
  • Accompany the child to and from school (family driver provided).
  • Accompany the child to extracurricular activities (sports, arts classes, etc.).
  • Maintain organization of school materials, schedules, and children’s areas.
  • Assist occasionally with the 1-year-old baby if required.
  • Support the mother with child-related needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Nanny, Governess, or similar role in a private household.
  • Strong experience supporting school-aged children academically.
  • Background in structured learning, tutoring, or educational-focused childcare.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and attentive to detail.
  • Patient, nurturing, and able to maintain structure and discipline.
  • Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
  • Flexible and adaptable to family needs.
  • Open to all nationalities.
  • Available to start ASAP.

Work conditions

  • Live-in accommodation provided inside the main house.
  • 6 days per week, 1 day off.
  • Visa, medical insurance, and flight ticket provided as per UAE Labor Law.

Salary

AED 10,000 – 20,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
