Housekeeper/Nanny job (M/F) in Divonne-les-Bains, France
Job description
A private family is seeking, through Morgan & Mallet International, an experienced and versatile Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household on a permanent basis.
The role combines full household management, daily meal preparation and the care of a child aged 3 to 6.
It is suited to an autonomous, rigorous and naturally warm professional, equally comfortable maintaining a high-standard home and caring for a young child.
Responsibilities
Household Management
- Daily cleaning of the entire residence (floors, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas)
- Care of household linen and clothing (washing, ironing, putting away)
- Management of household supplies and anticipating restocking needs
- Maintaining a tidy and pleasant living environment on a daily basis
- Dog care
Cooking & Shopping
- Preparation of one balanced family meal per day, tailored to the family's tastes
- Shopping in line with weekly menus
- Keeping the kitchen clean and well-organised at all times
Childcare
- Day-to-day supervision, safety and wellbeing of the child
- Support with daily routines (meals, nap time, bath time, bedtime)
- Providing age-appropriate play and educational activities
- School and activity runs as needed
- Regular and open communication with the parents
Availability & Mobility
- Accompanying the family to their secondary residence or abroad
- Maintaining the same standard of service regardless of location
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (housekeeper, nanny or combined)
- Proven experience with young children
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills
- Good home cooking — simple and balanced
- Valid driving licence (mandatory)
- French required; some English is a plus
- Absolute discretion and respect for the family's privacy
- Kindness, patience, organisational skills and reliability
