Housekeeper / Light Butler job (M/F) in Hidd Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job description
A private German family living in a luxury villa in Hidd Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced and English-speaking Housekeeper / Light Butler to manage the home independently.
The home is a 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom luxury villa with 2 adults living in the house.
The candidate will take care of the daily running of the household.
The person must be responsible, trustworthy, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
This role is suitable for someone who has worked before in large private homes or luxury villas and is organized, flexible, and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping duties to a high standard across a 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom villa
- Daily cleaning, upkeep, and deep cleaning of all areas of the residence
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization
- Grocery shopping and household inventory management
- Basic meal preparation and cooking for 2 household members
- Table setting and light household service when required
- Managing household tasks independently and proactively without supervision
- Supporting light butler-style duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper, Butler, or similar role in a private household
- Experience in a large villa or luxury residence is highly preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (essential)
- Strong housekeeping, organization, and time management skills
- Flexible, easy-going, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Basic cooking skills and confidence following simple recipes
- Good understanding of household standards and cleanliness expectations

Work conditions
- Live-in position, private bedroom with attached bathroom
- Schedule: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Working Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM, including a 1–1.5 hour lunch break
- Start date: ASAP
- UAE employment visa, medical insurance, annual flight ticket provided
