Job description
A formal private household in Dubai is seeking an experienced, discreet and highly organised Private Household Manager / Senior Housekeeper to oversee the smooth running of the home.
This is a hands-on role combining household management, senior housekeeping and occasional childcare/pet support, ideal for a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a high-standard private household.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the household to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Supervising contractors, service providers and any junior staff.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards including cleaning, laundry and organisation.
- Managing household inventories and supplies.
- Assisting with household administration, expenses and service coordination.
- Supporting family travel preparation and occasional event organisation.
- Providing occasional childcare or pet care when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior housekeeping or household management role within a private household.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, discreet and service-oriented.
- Confident managing multiple tasks and household operations.
- Fluent English required.
- Valid driving licence.
- Comfortable swimming.
Work conditions
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Accommodation: Live-in or Live-out (provided if Live-In)
- Schedule: Full-time, 6 days per week (flexibility required)
