Head Nanny job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A French father based in Dubai is expecting the arrival of two baby girls between February and March 2027. He is looking for an experienced, live-in Head Nanny to join the family from December 2026 in the United States, ahead of the babies’ arrival, then in Dubai, on a long-term basis.
She will be the lead point of reference for the organisation around the babies and will coordinate a team of two other nannies, one working days and the other nights. The role is exclusively focused on the children, with no housekeeping duties.
The family is very respectful and offers excellent working conditions, and is considering a move to France in a few years. A willingness to continue the journey with them would be greatly appreciated.
The position will start in December 2026 in the United States, where the Head Nanny will accompany the family for the babies’ arrival, before the move to Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Taking charge of the daily care of the two newborns: feeding, bathing, changing, sleep and hygiene
- Setting up and evolving the babies’ routines in line with their development
- Organising the schedules and days of the nanny team, and ensuring seamless coordination between the day and night teams
- Leading and supporting the two other nannies, with autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility
- Suggesting and organising age-appropriate activities as the children grow
- Keeping the father informed about the children’s daily life, development and wellbeing
- Keeping the babies’ room, laundry and belongings organised
- Accompanying the family when they travel
Requirements
- A nanny with extensive experience with newborns, ideally twins or two babies
- Experience coordinating or leading other nannies
- Autonomous, organised and comfortable making decisions
- Excellent English; French would be a real asset
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Holder of a European passport, which eases travel, particularly to the United States, and a possible move to France
- Open to a long-term commitment, and to following the family to France in the future
- Available from December 2026, to start in the United States
Work conditions
- Position: Head Nanny
- Location: United States from December 2026, then Dubai (DAMAC Hills), with travel
- Full-time, live-in, long-term position, Monday to Friday
- Large private bedroom with en-suite bathroom in a 600 m² villa in DAMAC Hills
- Access to the residence’s facilities: swimming pool, gym, shopping mall and restaurants
- Car provided
- A separate night helper will be in place initially
