Job description

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Head Housekeeper to supervise a team of 2 to 4 people in a main residence located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

The profile sought is organized and endowed with great discretion. He has strong skills in the management and maintenance of high-end properties, as well as a strong sense of priorities. In charge of supervising service providers, the candidate will be proactive in contacting them as soon as any anomaly is detected.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the property (300 m²): Guarantee an impeccable state of cleanliness. Carry out the complete cleaning, prepare the rooms, clean the linen and iron, tidy up in the dressing rooms.
  • Logistical support: To facilitate the family's daily life through reliable assistance.
  • Maintenance Management: Supervise housekeeping and day-to-day services.
  • Management: Define the organization of the team, set up processes and guarantee perfect execution of work.
  • Schedules: Establish and manage schedules to keep the residency orderly in all circumstances.
  • Stocks: Oversee inventories and procurement (including cleaning products).
  • Service providers: Coordinate and supervise the interventions of external suppliers and service providers.
  • Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of domestic equipment and home automation; Report any malfunctions.
  • Reporting: Communicate regularly with the employer and report the problems encountered.
  • Reception: Welcoming guests (taking charge of the cloakroom and courtesy service).

Requirements

  • M/F, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in a private house or luxury hotel (5 stars, palace)
  • Interpersonal skills and know-how required.
  • Caring, professional person, with a strong sense of organization and a great ease of adaptation.
  • Proactive, responsible and trustworthy profile.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment: punctuality, discretion and absolute confidentiality are required.
  • Excellent managerial skills and ability to communicate clearly.
  • Mastery of the standards of luxury hospitality.
  • Ability to manage unforeseen events and anticipate customer needs.
  • Animal loving person (non-allergic).

Work conditions

  • Availability: As soon as possible.
  • Location: Paris 16th.
  • Type of contract: Permanent contract, full-time (39 hours/week, Monday to Friday).
  • Advantages: 50% reimbursement of transport costs, company health insurance.

Salary

€4,500 gross monthly (depending on profile).
