Job description

Our client, a distinguished private family based in Kuwait, is seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and professional Governess/Nanny to provide exceptional care and early developmental support for their 2-year-old son.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the child’s formative years, creating a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment that supports both emotional security and cognitive development.

This is a long-term position requiring a candidate who is truly passionate about early childhood education and capable of delivering both high-level educational guidance and hands-on childcare in a warm, engaging, and refined manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full care and supervision for a 2-year-old child.
  • Support early learning and developmental milestones.
  • Introduce and develop English language skills (child. currently speaks Arabic and is being
    introduced to English).
  • Plan age-appropriate educational and play-based activities.
  • Support emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Assist with daily routines.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Governess, Nanny, or Early Years Educator.
  • British passport holder.
  • Strong background in early childhood development.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Warm, patient, and child-focused personality.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Professional and well-presented.
  • Open to all candidates abroad.

Work conditions

  • Working hours: 7–8 hours per day
  • Working days: 5 days per week
  • Open for live-in or live-out arrangement, depending on the candidate’s preference
  • Meals provided by the family
  • Start date: ASAP

 

Benefits:

  • Visa sponsorship, medical insurance, and annual flight ticket provided.
  • Initial relocation will be sponsored.

Salary

8000 GBP (approx. 40,000 AED+), depending on experience and qualifications.
