Job description
A warm and dynamic family based in Dubai is looking for an exceptional Governess and Nanny to educate and care for their three young children aged 2, 4, and 6.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is not just qualified, but truly passionate, someone who brings energy, creativity, and genuine warmth to every interaction with children.
The family are looking for someone who will become a real and trusted member of their household, travelling with them and being present as a companion to the children during family outings.
Responsibilities
- Creating structured, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans across a range of subjects including reading, writing, history, biology, science, and the arts.
- Delivering daily educational sessions in a fun, stimulating, and motivating way that keeps each child engaged and eager to learn.
- Adapting teaching methods and content to suit the individual developmental stage and learning style of each child.
- Monitoring and tracking each child's progress, communicating openly and regularly with the parents.
- Accompanying the family on outings and travel, providing nanny-style support and supervision as required.
- Supporting the children's daily routines, encouraging independence, good manners, and positive behaviour.
- Travelling internationally with the family when required and maintaining educational continuity during trips.
- Building a genuinely warm, trusting, and enriching relationship with all three children.
Requirements
- EU, US, Japanese passport holder preferred.
- Fluent or native English speaker (essential).
- Formal teaching qualification or equivalent (degree in education, early childhood, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience as a governess or nanny, ideally within a private household.
- Strong academic knowledge across multiple subjects including sciences, humanities, and literacy.
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic, able to make learning genuinely exciting for young children.
- Warm, caring, and emotionally intelligent- someone who truly wants to be there.
- Comfortable with international travel and flexible scheduling.
- Professional, discreet, and respectful of family privacy.
Work conditions
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Start date: ASAP
- Schedule: alternating days on / day off
- Live-out (accommodation not provided)
- Visa and medical insurance provided by the family
- International travel with the family required
