Job description

Morgan & Mallet International, a leading agency in the recruitment of high-end domestic staff, is looking for an experienced, caring and versatile Governess of Children and House for a family of 6 based in Liège.

The position

You will look after two children (a 3-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy) and participate in the smooth running of the household. A warm, organized and mobile person, able to accompany the family in their frequent travels and during stays in their second home in Italy.

Responsibilities

Daily care for children: meals, games, bathing, bedtime, fun and educational activities
Ensuring their well-being, development and safety
Prepare meals for the family (simple and varied cuisine) and guests, set and clear the table
Food and miscellaneous shopping (post office, dry cleaners, ironing centre)
Routine home maintenance: tidying up, small cleaning, laundry, management of dressing rooms and household linen
Assist the family in managing schedules and coordinating appointments
Occasional babysitting in the evenings and on weekends, depending on the family's needs
Caring for flowers inside the home
Accompanying the family during holidays and stays in Italy

Requirements

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with children of the same age
Caring, reassuring, organized, meticulous and dynamic person
Enjoys cooking and spending quality time with children
Great flexibility to adapt to the needs of the family
English speaking preferred, with a minimum level of French B1
EU passport required
B driving licence required

Work conditions

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Liège, Belgium
Accommodation: Furnished studio of 31 m² + company car
Start of the position: As soon as possible

Salary

€3,000 – €3,500 net/month
